Schools Work
Abaana has been in over 30 Primary
and Secondary schools in the last six months. We
share in assemblies, Scripture Unions and also other
school groups who are interested in Africa or wanting
to raise funds. The multi-media presentation is
relevant and enjoyed by all schools so far.
Child Sponsorship
Life
in Africa is a struggle for anyone, but the life
of a child is even harder. Imagine, growing up in
a world where you lack the very basics in life,
food, clean water, safety, a bed of your own. Beyond
that, there are no toys, no dolls, no soccer balls,
no sweets and treats, at best a bed of reeds to
sleep on. Child sponsorship is a way for you to
give a child hope.
Youth Groups / Churches
We
are looking for youth groups and churches who are
wanting to raise money for projects. We are willing
to come and give a presentation about the current
projects and help in any way with fundraising.
Vision
Abaana's
goal is not just to help children in Africa. It
is to challenge our way of life. To look at ourselves
and our walk with God. To ask the question do we
really show compassion?
